Five small sailboats with golden-orange sails sit on a rippled lake in the lower third of this square image. The water is built from short strokes of navy, purple and rust, with a bright streak of reflected light running down below the boats at the centre left. A dark green forested hill fills the middle ground.
Behind the forest, a snow-covered mountain catches warm light in patches of orange, cream and pink, while its shaded side to the left turns icy blue. A pale yellow sun sits just above the ridge under a thin cloud, against a violet sky. The thick, visible brushwork and saturated colour give it a bold, impressionist painting feel.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
