About Seychelle Islands
The photograph looks along a tropical shoreline where large rounded granite boulders sit half in the water and half on pale sand. The boulders are warm brown and grey, their surfaces smoothed and mottled, with the closest one filling the lower left corner. Between them the shallow water runs clear turquoise over a sandy bed, fading to jade and then deeper blue towards the horizon. On the right, coconut palms lean out from dense green jungle that climbs a low headland, and a faint mountain ridge sits far out across the bay.
The upper half is a clean, cloudless deep blue sky with a thin band of haze near the water line and a few wisps of white cloud above the palms. Detail is crisp throughout: grain in the rock, ripples across the shallows, individual palm fronds against the sky. It reads as a bright midday coastal scene, calm and open, with strong contrast between cool water and warm stone.
Suits a beach house living room, a coastal-style bedroom or a hallway that needs depth. The turquoise and brown sit well with white walls, rattan, linen and timber furniture. Works above a sofa or bedhead, and pairs with other water or palm imagery without competing. Larger sizes hold a dining room wall comfortably.
