About Simply Green
A square abstract built from flowing ink washes. The right two thirds are deep emerald and sage green, pulled downward in long vertical streaks with hard-edged pools where the pigment has dried and left darker outlines. Down the left side, magenta and hot pink shapes bloom like petals, edged with cream and touched by small rust-orange flecks near the top. A single pink oval floats on the upper right. The surface reads as translucent layers, pale where the wash thins, near-black where it collects.
The character is wet and unplanned: colour has been allowed to run, pool and separate, so the green feels like water on glass while the pink reads as something organic caught at the edge of it. Bold in colour but soft in every edge.
Works in a living room above a low sideboard, in a bedroom over the bedhead, or on a home office wall that needs colour without pattern. The green sits well with rattan, linen and pale timber; the magenta picks up plum or berry cushions. Good in beach house interiors with white walls.
