A varnished timber rowboat sits slightly left of centre on perfectly flat water, its bow pointing right. The hull is a warm honey-yellow with a dark trim line along the gunwale, and the oars rest across the thwarts inside. Its dark, solid reflection stretches beneath it on the water.
Large clouds fill the upper half, lit from the right with peach and amber edges against pale blue-green sky. The same clouds repeat in the water below, so the horizon almost disappears. The image reads as a smooth, digitally blended photograph, with soft teal, grey and gold tones and no other objects in view.
