About Surfs Up Pattern VIIIA
Six long surfboards stand upright across a square cream background, arranged in two staggered rows so the upper boards are cropped by the top edge. Each board is drawn in loose watercolour washes that fade from one colour into another: teal into sand, sage green into pale blue, coral into cream. Fine stripes run down the centre of most boards in blue, white or deep green, with soft bleeding at the edges where the wash pooled. The backdrop carries small flecked dashes and dots in pale straw, giving a subtle woven texture.
The mood is relaxed and summery rather than graphic, with watery edges and uneven pigment keeping the pattern soft. A small signature sits in the lower right corner.
Suits beach houses, coastal bathrooms, kids' and teens' rooms, laundries and hallways. Works over a white vanity, a rattan bench or a painted timber wall, and pairs well with jute, raw linen and pale oak. Hang it as a pair with another board print above twin beds or along a corridor.
