About The Frog I
A round-bodied lime green frog fills the centre of this square artwork, caught mid-leap with all four limbs flung outward and its long yellow-green toes splayed, tipped in small red dots. A tilted gold crown sits on its head, and the face carries dark lashed eyes, rosy pink cheeks and an open pink mouth. The background is a wash of turquoise and sky blue, scribbled over with pale white and cream spirals that read as bubbles or swirling water. Soft white shapes float at the upper right.
Colour is applied loosely, with visible streaks and dry-edged strokes in the blue field and softer blended greens across the frog's body. Initials appear in purple at the lower right corner. The mood is light and comic: a startled, cheerful frog prince tumbling through water, pitched squarely at children rather than a serious nature study.
Made for children's bedrooms, nurseries and playrooms, particularly bathrooms or bath-themed corners where the blue water background fits.
