Long, narrow tropical leaves sweep across a white and pale grey background in a square composition. Bands of green, lime and teal cross with slender strands of coral, peach and hot pink. A thin red stem arcs up from the left, and red tubular buds hang along the left edge.
A cluster of brownish-gold seed heads and leaf bases sits at the upper right, while a magenta pompom-like flower head shows at the bottom centre. The brushwork is loose and gouache-like, with visible strokes and some overlapping translucent passes. Faint grey leaf shapes sit behind, like a ghosted pattern.
