About Tropical Paradise II
A single slender palm stands centred against a deep chocolate brown ground, its trunk banded with pale rings and washed in warm gold. Long olive and yellow-green fronds arch out from the crown in a loose fan, each blade marked with a central vein and slightly curled tips. Clusters of small red and orange seed pods hang from the crown and drop along the upper trunk. Low spiky shrubs in dark green fill the base, and a broad mottled gold border frames the scene like an aged mount.
The character is quiet and antique, closer to an old plate from a botanical folio than a bright tropical poster. Warm gold against near-black brown gives it depth and a settled, library-room mood.
Suits a beach house hallway, a dining room with timber furniture, or a home office with dark shelving. The gold border and brown ground work against cream, sand or deep green walls, and sit well with rattan, brass lamps and leather.
