About Unbridled II
A single horse stands centred in a portrait format, body angled away and head turned back over the left shoulder, ears pricked. The coat is built from overlapping colour rather than a single tone: burgundy and chestnut across the barrel, cool lilac and white catching the shoulder and flank, teal and near-black running down the mane, neck and legs. The tail lifts and breaks apart into loose dark strokes. Behind the horse the ground rises from amber to rust and gold, streaked vertically with lighter drips.
The lower third dissolves into dark green and blue-black grasses, flicked upward so the legs seem to disappear into them. It reads as a bold, energetic study of an animal caught mid-turn, warm and slightly unfinished at every edge.
The amber and rust field makes this a natural fit for a hallway, home office or a gentleman's room with leather, timber and brass. It also works above a bed with charcoal or forest green bedding.
