About Vibrant Theory II
The composition is filled edge to edge with large curved shapes that slot into one another like puzzle pieces. A deep navy ribbon loops across the top left, wrapping around a pale cream form. Below it a rounded teal column rises from the bottom edge, flanked by a slate-blue finger shape and a mustard block. The right half is dominated by warm ochre and bright yellow panels with cream hook and arch forms cut into them, while a navy wave closes the lower right corner.
Colour is laid down in flat, even fields with crisp edges and no shading or visible texture, so the interest comes entirely from the rhythm of curves and the swing between cool blues and hot yellows. The character is playful and graphic, a calm mid-century mood with enough contrast to hold a wall on its own.
Works in a living room above a low sideboard, in a home office, or in a kid's or teen's bedroom where the yellow lifts the light. Pairs with pale timber, white or cane furniture, a navy sofa or mustard cushions. Hang as a pair with a second abstract of the same palette on a wide wall.
