About Vintage London Big Ben
A portrait travel-poster design fills the canvas with a burnt red and orange background. The word LONDON sits across the top in heavy navy block capitals, split over two lines, with a twin-propeller aircraft flying past the first letters. A worn Union Jack stretches diagonally across the middle in red, navy and cream. On the right, the tower of Big Ben rises the full height of the image in brown and grey, its clock face and gothic spire clearly drawn, with a dark shadow behind it.
Along the lower edge the word England appears in large cream script, slightly cropped at the right. The whole surface carries deliberate distressing: scuffs, faded patches and a cream border like aged paper stock. The character is bold and nostalgic, a graphic souvenir of London rather than a realistic view.
Suits a home office, study or hallway where a single strong graphic works well, and fits travel-themed bedrooms and teen rooms. Pair it with dark timber furniture, leather seating, brass lamps and other vintage poster prints. The red and navy also sit comfortably against cream or charcoal walls in a living room or bar corner.
