About Wildlife Elephant
A single African elephant faces the camera head-on, lit from the front so the wrinkled skin of its forehead, trunk and ears glows warm beige and tan against a completely black background. The ears are fanned wide and fill much of the frame, their thin edges softly lit and their surfaces mapped with fine creases and vein-like lines. The trunk hangs straight down the centre, ringed with deep horizontal folds, and one pale tusk curves forward from the shadow below the right ear. The shoulder and flank fade into darkness at the lower right.
The mood is quiet and direct: no landscape, no herd, just the animal's face and the texture of its hide reading almost like weathered leather.
Works in a living room above a low sideboard, in a home office, or in a bedroom where you want one calm focal point.
