About Withered
A leafless tree spreads its branches across the whole canvas in fine black lines, set against a ground of cobalt and pale blue that has been worked into swirls and ridges so thick they look like frost or moving water. Light seems to gather behind the trunk, and the texture catches every lamp in the room.
Withered is calm and slightly melancholy, and the blue texture gives it a presence on the wall that a flat image never has.
