About Golden Pineapple
A single pineapple sits centred on a square mint green ground. Its body is filled with a pale blush pink oval, overlaid with a lattice of gold linework that traces the fruit's diamond skin pattern. The crown spreads upward in long, tapering gold leaves that fan out almost to the top edge. Behind the fruit, the seafoam background is covered in scraped, plaster-like texture: horizontal and diagonal trowel marks, fine scratches and lighter cream patches where the colour thins toward the corners.
The character is decorative and graphic rather than realistic, with the gold reading as a flat metallic outline against a cool, weathered wall of mint. It feels light and coastal, with a touch of tropical glamour.
Works in kitchens, dining nooks and breakfast bars, and suits beach house and coastal-style bedrooms. The mint and blush sit well with rattan, whitewashed timber, brass handles and pale linen. Hang it above a sideboard or between kitchen cabinetry, or pair the 60 x 60cm size with a second square print in a two-piece set. My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
