About Bubble 9-2
A square composition built from flat aqua-teal shapes set against a warm walnut-brown ground with fine vertical wood grain running top to bottom. A large circle sits at the upper right, partly eaten into by teal; a smaller circle clips the top left corner. Between them a broad teal band narrows into a tapered hook that curves back toward the right edge, and a wide teal form fills the lower left like a rounded hill. A sliver of aqua appears at the right margin.
The character is calm and graphic: two colours only, hard clean edges, and the soft striping of timber grain giving the brown areas depth. It reads as mid-century pattern work, playful in its curves but quiet enough to sit still on a wall.
Suits mid-century and retro interiors, teak or walnut furniture, and rooms with cane, rattan or leather. Works above a low sideboard, in a home office, a bedroom, or a beach house hallway.
