Tall white aspen trunks fill the frame from top to bottom, their bark marked with dark brown scars and small black flecks. The trunks are packed close on the left and right, with a few thinner ones behind. Two narrow gaps of flat chartreuse yellow-green open between them near the centre.
At the base, a low band of golden orange and olive foliage sits among bare, thin branches. The trunks run off the top edge, so no canopy shows. The look is flat and graphic, with soft painted-style texture on the bark and a limited palette of white, chartreuse, gold and brown.
