About Australia Forest Waterfall
A wide cliff face of falling water fills the upper half of the frame, the long exposure turning the flow into smooth white and pale blue veils that split around dark ledges of rock. A single slender tree stands in the centre, its thin trunk leaning slightly right and its open canopy of small leaves silhouetted against the water. Ferns and shrubs cluster on the banks, a stack of grey boulders sits at lower left, and the stream at the base blurs into a soft white sheet.
The whole scene is cast in a cool blue light, with only the foliage holding green, giving the image a still, shaded gorge feeling rather than bright daylight.
Suits living rooms and bedrooms with cool grey, white or soft blue walls, and works well above a sofa or bedhead.
