About Beauty in a Row
Three red calla lilies stand side by side, filling the upper half of a portrait canvas. The centre bloom sits slightly higher and faces forward, while the two flanking flowers curl outward, each spathe rolled into a soft point. Deep crimson fades to butter yellow at the throat, then meets slim olive-green stems that run down to the lower edge and cast faint vertical shadows. Behind them a burnt-orange glow radiates from the centre, cooling to teal and slate blue at the corners and along the top.
The background carries a fine stippled texture, like paint dragged over a coarse weave, which keeps the smooth, almost polished petals sharp against it. A small red signature mark sits in the bottom right corner. The mood is warm and still, with the three flowers read more as shapes and colour than as botanical study.
Warm oranges and reds make it a good fit above a sideboard in a dining room, in an entry hall, or on a neutral bedroom wall. It sits well with timber furniture, cream or clay-toned walls, and teal or rust cushions. Hang the taller sizes as a single statement rather than in a group.
