Floating frame
The stretched canvas sits inside a slim timber frame in white, black, natural or silver, with a small shadow gap around the edge. Delivered framed and ready to hang.

About Bike Ride III
A single vintage cruiser bicycle runs the full width of a long panoramic field of plain white. The frame is cropped at both ends, so you see two large wheels, the swept crossbar, the chain ring, one pedal and part of the handlebar stem, with the seat and front fork cut away by the edges. Every form is filled with washy taupe and warm grey tone, patchy and semi-transparent, while the spokes are drawn as fine pale lines radiating from mottled hubs. Edges are soft and slightly bled, as watercolour on damp paper.
The character is quiet and graphic: an everyday object reduced to tone and line, with enough mottling in the washes to keep it from looking flat. It reads as a sketch rather than a portrait of a particular bike.
Built for wide, awkward spaces: above a bedhead, along a hallway, over a sideboard or above a desk in a home office. The neutral taupe suits white, oatmeal and pale timber rooms, and it sits well with linen bedding, rattan and black metal fittings. Also an easy pick for a kid's or teen's room.
