A square abstract built from horizontal bands stacked from top to bottom. The upper third moves through dusty mauve, warm taupe and a wide black band, then a bright white stripe. Below that a broad magenta band sits across the centre, followed by more black, grey and white layers to the base. Thin vertical lines in black and pale blue cut down through the stripes in two clusters, right of centre and near the lower left, like the cords of a venetian blind.

White drips fall from the white band in the upper half, and magenta bleeds downward at the left edge of the centre stripe. The bands are dragged and streaky, with grain, flecks and scratched marks showing through where one colour sits over another. The overall character is graphic and slightly raw: strong horizontal rhythm, hot pink against black, with the vertical lines breaking the order.
