A cluster of weathered timber pylons, all that remains of a jetty, rises from flat lake water in the lower half of the frame. The posts are cracked and grey-brown, some capped with rust marks, and they throw long soft reflections into water that shifts from deep cobalt at the front to pale turquoise and gold nearer the shore. A low green and ochre mountain range crosses the middle distance, with small pale buildings dotted along its base.
