Two vases of flowers sit at the top of this watercolour. On the left, yellow and orange daisy-like blooms with dark centres rise from a green glass vase. On the right, loose pink and magenta flowers spill from a clear vase, their petals made of soft washes with small flecks of spatter.
The table below holds halved pears with dark seeds, a scatter of red cherries on long stems and a blue-green jug with horizontal stripes and a gold rim. Behind them, vertical bands of olive, teal, plum and orange break the background into panels, and colour runs and bleeds across the white paper. A signature sits at the lower right.
