A huge fan of rippled cloud spreads across the upper two thirds of this photograph. The streaks run from deep purple and violet on the left to hot red and orange on the right, with fine, regular ripples in the cloud texture. Near the horizon the sky settles into a glowing yellow and soft orange.
Below, several ridgelines of mountains step back in layers, each paler and more purple than the one in front, with a thin band of dark cloud sitting on the horizon. In the bottom corners, dark pine trees and rust-orange autumn foliage frame the view, and small houses are scattered over the hillside at the right.

My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
