About Desert Still Life II
A square composition built from four or five overlapping rectangular blocks that step down and across the centre of the canvas, loosely suggesting vessels or bowls seen flat on. Each block is made of horizontal bands in tan, sandy beige, warm ochre, soft grey and deep charcoal, with one bright orange curve sweeping through the lower shape. The surrounding ground is a chalky off-white with visible trowelled marks, scuffs and faint ridges. Fine scratched and combed lines run through the darker bands, adding grain.

Suits living rooms, bedrooms and home offices in neutral or coastal schemes. The chalky cream ground sits well on white, limewash or pale grey walls, and the tan and ochre bands pick up oak furniture, rattan, linen and terracotta pots.
