About Devils Marbles Australia
A wide outback scene fills the frame, with rounded granite boulders scattered across dry spinifex country. The rocks are burnt orange and rust red, catching low warm light on their upper curves while their shadowed sides drop into deep brown. Two slender gum trees lean into the wind, one at the left with a pale white trunk bending low, the other taller at the right with olive foliage swept sideways. Bleached yellow grass runs across the lower third, broken by low red stone ledges.
Above, a deep blue sky carries long streaks of white cirrus and a tall bank of cumulus on the right. The wide-angle framing gives the sky roughly two thirds of the image, so the print reads as open, bright and windy rather than still.
Suits a living room or hallway with white or pale grey walls, where the blue sky can carry across the room. Works in a beach house or home office alongside timber furniture, rattan and jute, and sits well with terracotta or rust cushions that pick up the red rock. Good above a low sideboard.
