About Embroidered Prism Collage I
A single faceted sphere sits in the middle of a plain cream field, taking up roughly a third of the portrait format and leaving wide empty margins on all sides. The ball is built from triangles and wedges washed in coral orange, slate blue and deep navy, with a few facets left white so the cream ground shows through. Over the top, a web of thin navy lines connects point to point like a wireframe drawn across the shape, some of it drifting past the edge of the coloured mass.
The watercolour facets show soft pooling and uneven edges where washes meet, which keeps the geometry from feeling mechanical. Its character is quiet and diagrammatic, part scientific sketch, part colour study.
Suits a home office above a desk, a study nook or a kid's room where a graphic focal point is wanted without heavy colour. The cream ground sits well on white and warm grey walls, and the coral picks up terracotta pots, tan leather and rattan. Hang as a pair with another geometric print.
