About Expression in Rot
A cluster of pale pink and cream cells sits slightly below centre, each shape rounded and outlined by fine darker edges, like a honeycomb caught mid-blur. From this core, streaks of scarlet, vermilion and orange fan outward in long horizontal rays that stretch to the edges of the frame. The upper right corner falls away into deep black, while the top left holds a warmer wash of crimson with a narrow band of violet and magenta running vertically near the middle. Surfaces look smooth and photographic rather than textured.
The character here is heat and motion: a bright core radiating through a dark red field, with enough black to keep the intensity grounded. It reads as energetic without becoming chaotic.
Strong in a living room above a dark leather or charcoal sofa, where the black corner ties into the furniture. Also works in a home office or a bedroom with white walls and timber.
