About Flamingo I
A single flamingo fills most of the frame, turned side-on with its neck curved into a deep S and its head lowered toward the right edge. The neck is a saturated coral orange, finely dimpled with short feathers, while the body is a mass of layered salmon and blush plumes that pale almost to white across the wing. The hooked bill is pink at the base and tipped in glossy black, with a small pale yellow eye set just above it.
Behind the bird, the background falls away into soft focus: rippled grey-blue water across the upper half, a band of mown green grass below, and a blur of dark shrubbery at the right. The overall character is calm and close-up, a quiet bird portrait where the warm coral tones are the only strong colour.
Suits beach house hallways, bedrooms and bathrooms where the pink reads as soft rather than loud, and works in a living room against white or pale grey walls.
