About Flock
Two simplified birds fill this square composition, each drawn with a fine white outline. The upper bird is a soft yellow-green, facing right, standing on the back of the larger olive-green bird below it. The lower bird faces left, its long tail sweeping to the right edge, thin white legs and splayed toes resting on a band of lime green that runs across the bottom third. Above them, a teal ground is broken by vertical drips and scratched lines, with a pale vertical seam marking the left side.
The mood is quiet and graphic rather than realistic: flat colour, scratched linework and a faint ghost shape in the lower right give the surface a worn, layered feel. It reads as gentle and slightly folksy, with a calm teal-to-green palette.
Suits a nursery or kids room, a beach house hallway, or a living room with white and timber furniture. The teal and lime pairing sits well with rattan, linen in oatmeal or sage, and pale oak.
