About Flowers And Honey II
A square botanical composition set against a mottled amber and honey-gold ground, broken by patches of dusty teal and pale grey that show through like a weathered wall. Slender stems rise from the bottom edge and lean in from both sides. On the left and right, deep crimson leaves and clustered red berry-like flowers spread outward. Through the centre a dark charcoal stem carries rounded seed pods and a clover-shaped flower head, while soft white and cream blooms and ghosted leaf shapes sit to the right.
The surface reads as layered and stencilled, with soft-edged silhouettes, dry speckling and scraped-back patches giving it an aged, fresco-like feel. A small signature sits in the lower right corner. The character is warm and quiet: a decorative botanical that trades detail for flat shapes and a rich earthy palette.
Suits warm neutral rooms with timber, rattan or linen: above a bed with cream bedding, in a hallway, or on a beach house living room wall. The amber and rust tones pair with terracotta pots, brass lamps and tan leather, while the teal patches pick up denim or muted blue-green cushions.
