About Misty Forest Boulder
Shot from ground level with a wide lens, the photograph looks up through a stand of tall pines that lean inward toward a burst of white light at the top of the frame. Fog fills the spaces between the trunks, turning the far rows of trees into pale blue silhouettes and softening every edge. In the foreground sits a large boulder, its cracked grey and cream surface capped with thick green moss. Rust-brown needles and fine grass cover the forest floor around its base.
The wide-angle curve bends the trunks outward at the edges, giving the scene a sense of scale and height. Cool blue haze in the distance sits against warm brown litter and vivid moss in the foreground.
A tall, calming image for bedrooms, hallways and home offices with white or pale grey walls. It works above a bedhead or in a narrow entry, and pairs with timber furniture, linen bedding, jute rugs and indoor greenery.
