Stretched, ready to hang
Your canvas is stretched on a timber frame with the hanging wire already attached. Clean, frameless gallery look.
Floating frame
The stretched canvas sits inside a slim timber frame in white, black, natural or silver, with a small shadow gap around the edge. Delivered framed and ready to hang.
Rolled canvas
Just the printed canvas, rolled in a tube, if you would rather have it framed locally.
How our prints are made
- Museum-quality giclée print on heavy-duty archival canvas, using pigment inks that will not fade.
- Stretched on a thick timber frame with the hanging wire attached, so it goes straight onto the wall.
- Made to order in Australia and delivered in about 10 to 14 days.
Delivery and guarantee
- Free tracked delivery Australia-wide. GST included, nothing more to pay at the door.
- 30-day money-back guarantee on every order.

A cloud of about forty butterflies rises from the bottom centre of a square canvas and fans out towards the upper left and right. Each wing shape is a flat silhouette filled with gold leaf tones, soft silver, pewter grey or chalky white, and many carry faint spotted or lace-like patterns inside the wings.
The background is a dark, streaky brown with vertical drips and rust-coloured runs, so it reads like weathered timber or aged metal. Fine splatters of white and gold flick across the surface, and a few thin gold lines trail down from the wings. The look is abstract and textured, with warm metallic light against deep shadow.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
