About Golden Ocean Gems
A single sea snail shell fills the centre of a square format, photographed from directly above so the spiral winds from the outer rim to a tiny point just off centre. The shell reads as warm gold and ochre, with dark brown and black dashes running in rings along each whorl like stitching. Ridges catch highlights in pale cream, while the lower right edge fades to a translucent, almost pearl tone. The background is a flat stone-grey ground with a faint mottled paper texture and a soft shadow under the shell.
The character here is quiet and graphic: one natural object, strongly lit, treated almost like a specimen study. The gold tones give it warmth without the image becoming decorative or busy.
Suits bathrooms, bedrooms and hallways in coastal or neutral homes, where the grey ground sits easily against white, limewash or pale timber walls. The gold picks up brass tapware, rattan and linen.
