About Green Watercolour Drips
The whole surface is filled with thin vertical ribbons of watercolour running from the top edge to the bottom, like rain on glass. Sage and pine greens dominate the left and centre, crossed by cool grey-blue and soft teal lines, with pale lemon yellow bands adding warmth. On the right, raspberry and magenta streaks pool and branch, the strongest colour note in the composition. Small flecks and speckles of pigment sit between the lines. The background stays clean white, so every ribbon reads as translucent and layered.
The character is light and airy rather than bold: colour behaves like water, thinning at the top and gathering weight lower down. It reads as tall grass or reeds without ever becoming literal.
Suits a bedroom above a bed dressed in white or pale linen, a coastal-style living room, or a home office wanting colour without heaviness. It works against white and soft grey walls, with light timber, rattan and pale ceramics. Pair the larger sizes with a plain sofa; the 60 x 40cm suits a hallway or study nook.
