About Green Ink Cascade
A square field of green ink runs top to bottom in long vertical streaks, as though liquid pigment has been tipped down a wet surface and left to travel. The strongest bands sit left of centre in deep emerald and forest green, tapering into fine trails and tiny rounded beads near their ends. Around them the tone thins to sage, olive and a soft grey-green wash, with pale cream gaps where the ground shows through. Speckles and granulation settle inside the darker pours, and faint edge lines mark where one flow dried against another.
The character is calm but not static: the eye is pulled downward by the drips, while the washed pale areas at the top keep the square open rather than heavy. It reads as botanical without showing a single leaf.
Works in a living room above a linen sofa, in a bedroom over the bedhead, or in a home office where a single square is enough. It sits well with pale timber, rattan, white walls and ceramic pots, and suits a beach house or a room already holding plants and greenery.
