About Let Love Hope II
A portrait composition set on a pale, whitewashed timber-look background, with faint horizontal grain and brushed patches of grey showing through the white. The upper half carries the words LET HOPE in tall, widely spaced slate-blue serif capitals, followed by "be your sail" in a looser handwritten script. Below the text sits a single-masted sailboat drawn in fine blue pen lines, its mainsail and jib built from close hatching, with a few short strokes suggesting ripples under the hull.
The mood is quiet and coastal rather than decorative: plenty of empty space, one restrained colour, and a sketch that looks pulled from a notebook. Text and illustration share the same ink-blue tone, so the piece reads as a single calm statement.
