A single gnarled tree with a dense green crown stands on the left of a flat, rippled desert. Its thick trunk twists and splits near the base, and its shadow stretches across the sand. The ground is a pattern of wavy ridges and dark crevices that run toward a low, straight horizon.
On the right, an eagle with wings spread wide glides across a heavy sky of olive-green and grey storm clouds. A pale gap in the clouds and a thin orange glow at the horizon give the only warm light. The surface has a grainy, weathered texture, and the image is a digitally composed photograph with a black border, a title and a signature line beneath it.
