About Love Birds
A square composition centred on a large white wire birdcage, drawn in fine looping lines with heart shapes along its top and base rails. The cage hangs from a dark branch scattered with small green leaves, and a pink luggage tag reading Love Birds is tied to the hook. Inside, two slender fairy figures lean in to kiss: one in a navy spotted top and teal trousers, the other in a striped blue top with red and white striped stockings. Both have pale hair and translucent, veined dragonfly wings.
The background washes from deep starry blue at the top to soft lilac and pink at the base, with faint white specks and glowing dots. The cage doors stand open on both sides and a heart-shaped key hangs from the latch at right. The surface has a soft, smoothly blended look with no visible texture, and a small signature sits in the lower right corner. The mood is gentle and storybook, romantic without being sentimental.
Suits a girl's bedroom, a nursery or a kids' room, and works equally well above a bedhead in a main bedroom.
