About Misty Surreal Ink Flow II
A single pool of colour sits in the centre of an off-white ground, its edges left raw so the bare canvas shows on all four sides. The upper two thirds is a rose-pink wash, thin at the top and pooling darker along its right edge, with fine speckling where the pigment has dried unevenly. Beneath it, a dense mass of violet and indigo blooms outward in feathered veins, broken by small white gaps where the surface resisted the ink.
Along the bottom, a band of teal and petrol blue spreads in a low wave with a rippled upper edge and a pale, watery fringe running off to the right. Tiny white flecks scatter through the pink field like bubbles. The character is quiet but intense: a soft, atmospheric drift of colour anchored by one strong bruise of purple and a cool blue base.
Works well above a bed with white or grey linen, in a bathroom with pale tiles, or on a narrow hallway wall where its vertical shape suits the space. Pairs with plum or teal cushions, brass or black fittings, pale timber and a simple ceramic vase. Also suits a home office wall behind a desk.
