About Palm III
A single heart-shaped tropical leaf sits centred on a plain white ground, tilted slightly with its short curved stem rising from the top right. The blade is a mix of lime, emerald and olive, with darker veins fanning out from a central rib to the pointed tip and the two rounded lobes at the top. Between the veins the colour breaks into a mottled, marbled pattern of pale patches and deeper green pooling, the way wet pigment dries unevenly on paper. The outer edge is wavy and slightly ragged.
There is nothing else in the frame, so the leaf reads as a specimen study: quiet, graphic and close up, with all the interest held in the vein structure and the shifting greens.
Works in bathrooms, bedrooms and hallways where white or pale walls let the green read clearly. Suits beach house and tropical-leaning interiors, rattan furniture, timber shelving and linen bedding.
