A crowd of pansies fills this landscape watercolour, each face turned a slightly different way. A deep burgundy bloom sits at the centre, with a pink and white pansy to its upper left and a large white one with a magenta, plum-dark centre at upper right. Orange and yellow flowers gather along the lower left, and a violet bud pokes in at the top left corner.
The colour is laid down in wet, bleeding washes. Greens, teals and olive yellows run through the background and blur the stems and leaves into one another, while paler patches of bare white paper let light through. Fine splatters and drips show in the lower left and along the edges. A small handwritten signature sits at the lower right.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
