A cat faces the viewer in a head-and-shoulders pose, ears upright and amber-brown eyes looking straight out. The fur is split into patches of purple, red, orange, green, blue and yellow, with thick black outlines tracing the ears, cheeks and body. Dark tabby stripes run across the forehead and cheeks.
Small decorative marks sit across the coat: rows of white dots along the ears and cheeks, yellow spots, little coloured squares, and swirls and crescents on the chest. Long white whiskers sweep out across the face. The background is a flat teal-blue wash with light flecks of paint, and the colour has a watercolour and ink feel.
