About Raspberry Fantasy
A soft-edged landscape sits under a sky of solid raspberry pink that lightens slightly towards the horizon. On the left, a cluster of trees glows acid yellow, their canopies blurred into one another, with olive and grey-green shapes rising behind them like low hills. A smaller pair of yellow trees stands on the right. Between them a narrow strip of orange and gold light runs across the middle of the picture, as if catching low sun on water or open ground. The foreground is deep crimson red, banded horizontally.
Everything is hazy and smudged rather than drawn, so the trees read as colour masses instead of detail. The character is dreamlike and warm, a landscape reduced to three bold bands of pink, yellow and red.
Works in a bedroom above a bed with white or charcoal linen, in a dining room against pale grey walls, or in a ladies' room or home office that needs one strong colour.
