A tall natural sandstone arch fills the centre of this photograph, its weathered orange-red surface lit by low, warm sun. The arch stands on a smooth, sloping slab of rock in the foreground, with long soft shadows falling across the lower left. Fine horizontal banding and rough patches show clearly in the stone.
Behind the arch, layers of dark red canyon walls fall away to the horizon, and a line of snow-covered peaks catches pale blue light on the left. The sky above is heavy with purple and maroon clouds, split by a band of glowing yellow and orange near the horizon. The colours are saturated and the contrast between warm rock and cool snow is strong.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
