About Sharp
A broad band of mustard yellow runs across the top, with two small framed squares tucked into the corner, and below it the canvas splits into a red field on the left and a deep blue one on the right, divided by a scraped white vertical. Thin circles float on the blue, a pale green square sits low on the right, and every colour is worked with a dry brush so the surface looks weathered rather than flat.
It is bold primary colour handled with restraint, closer to a painted wall in an old city than to a poster, and it brings a room to life without any figurative subject at all.
