About Sphere in Motion
A broad curve sweeps from the lower left to the upper right, dividing the canvas into a warm pale yellow and cream upper field and a deep burnt-orange and terracotta lower mass. The curve reads like the edge of a large sphere turning through the frame. Along its rim, rust and brick tones are scraped and dragged, showing granular texture and patches of dark brown. Thin white lines are flicked across the lower right, crossing a group of fine dark vertical scratches that hang from the top edge.
The mood is warm and quietly kinetic, with a single small violet-blue splash near the base offering the one cool note against all the orange.
The warm terracotta and cream range suits living rooms with timber floors, leather or tan fabric lounges, and white or clay-coloured walls. It works above a low sideboard, in a hallway, or in a dining room lit by warm globes. Pair it with brass, jute rugs and ceramic vessels in matte earth glazes.
