About Spring Ombre
A stack of roughly fifteen horizontal watercolour bands fills the centre of a white portrait field. The sequence begins with pale lemon and buttery yellow at the top, shifts through apricot and burnt orange, then into scarlet, coral and deep crimson. Below that the bands turn rose pink, magenta and plum, before cooling into charcoal and soft mid-grey at the base. Each stripe has a soft rounded end, uneven edges and visible pooling where pigment has settled, so the colour is darker along one side of every band.
The character is simple and orderly: a colour chart arranged as a gradient, warm at the top and quiet at the bottom. It reads as cheerful without being loud, and the white margins keep it light.
Works in a bedroom, nursery or kids room, a home office above a desk, or a hallway that needs colour without pattern. The white ground suits pale walls, oak and rattan furniture, and white shelving.
