About Triplet Falls
A wide waterfall drops through the centre of the square frame in three broad tiers, the water blurred by a long exposure into smooth white ribbons that fan out across dark, wet rock. Behind and beside the falls, layered basalt ledges show damp charcoal and grey-brown tones, with moss and rust-coloured lichen clinging to a fallen branch on the right. Tree ferns frame both edges, their fronds catching light in vivid mid-green, while the upper corners fall away into deep shaded forest.
The mood is cool, damp and enclosed, the kind of gully light where green reads saturated and the water glows against black stone. Detail is crisp in the ferns and soft in the falling water, giving the image both stillness and movement at once.
Suits a bathroom, ensuite or hallway where the green and water tones feel at home, and works over a bed or sofa in a room with timber, linen and stone. Pairs with rattan, indoor plants and warm white walls, and holds its own against darker charcoal or forest-green paintwork.
