A weathered timber boardwalk runs diagonally across the lower foreground, its grey planks worn and splintered at the edges. Beside it, a still lake glows turquoise and deep teal, with soft ripples breaking the surface and pale gold reflections drifting across the water.
Across the far bank, thin waterfalls spill down a mossy rock face in several white strands, framed by trees in warm yellow, orange and green. A patch of blue sky shows at the top. The saturated, sunlit colour gives this photograph a vivid, slightly glowing finish. Small leaves cross the lower right corner.
