About Veggie Market Corn III
Two cobs of sweet corn sit at an angle across a square, cream canvas-toned ground. The lower cob leans right, its yellow kernels drawn in quick rows of ink dots and washes, half wrapped in long green husk leaves that taper to fine points. Behind it a second, shorter cob rises to the left, partly hidden. Rust-red silks curl from both tips like small flames. Loose ink outlines sit slightly off the colour washes, and the background keeps a faint woven linen texture with a few scattered flecks.
The character is relaxed and hand-drawn: a market-stall sketch rather than a botanical study, with generous white space around the cobs and a small signature in the lower right corner. Colour is limited to yellow, green and a touch of red, so it reads warm and simple from across a room.
Suits kitchens, dining rooms, breakfast nooks and pantry walls. It works over a sideboard or beside open shelving, and pairs naturally with other Veggie Market prints for a grid of two or four.
